"Arius Software, founded in 1998 by two University of Waterloo students and incorporated in 1999, provides services that allow clients to migrate legacy applications to web-enabled n-tier architectures using XML. This revolutionary technique allows applications to be more quickly developed and more easily deployed.

Arius, which employs ten people and provides custom software and technology consulting, has clients in a variety of fields, from the financial services industry to security and education. Arius has developed web banking, e-procurement, and end-to-end web presence solutions for a wide variety of clients all over North America from Silicon Valley, Calgary, and Saskatoon, to right here in Waterloo."
